Update August 2023: Geek Game Days 2023 was a huge success! We had over 435 participants at the event. As such we are going to extend enrollment in the FWGN Inner Circle until the end of 2023! Consider this a late pledge! Please see updates below.
Fort Worth Game Night is growing! Fort Worth Game Night, LLC has incorporated as a small business and we need your help! Game nights as usual will continue to be free.
That said, our last 7th Geek Game Day by Fort Worth Game Night had over 600 people registered and we had nearly 400 people who came through the doors. We are appreciative of the generous gift of space and food provided by Wedgwood Baptist Church which allowed us to have another free Geek Game Day. With this kind of growth this model isn’t sustainable long term
Moving forward we feel that our annual or bi-annual Geek Game Days should become self-sustaining events. That means charging for tickets and renting a venue.
We strongly believe the Tarrant County and the Fort Worth side of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex deserves a game convention! We hope you do too!
What we envision going forward are longer Geek Game Day events, the Virtual Flea Market/Bazaar moved inside, more consistent branding, more events, more game giveaways, celebrity guests, and more sponsorships. To make this happen though we need your help! So we’re announcing the FWGN “Inner Circle Club” to help get things started.
The FWGN Inner Circle Club is limited to 100 total: Diamond (7 people), Platinum (7 people), Gold (26 people), and Silver (60 people) Inner Circle Meeple slots. When they’re gone they’re gone!
Your purchase of an Inner Circle Meeple will allow us to:
- Be able to put down a deposit on an event venue for future Geek Game Day(s).
- Appear at other local conventions to promote Geek Game Day(s).
- Host other fundraiser events to get the organization momentum going.
- Fund FWGN and GGD gear to raise support for the event.
- Purchase prizes and cover other expenses for larger board game events such as Geek Game Day(s).
Events for the FWGN Inner Circle in 2023 could potentially include:

The Meeple Fine Print
- Meeple in the Inner Circle Club is an honorary title and does not bestow any leadership, voting, or decision making rights on the Meeple.
- Each Meeple slot allows for one entry into Inner Circle Club events and/or Geek Game Days. So this means if you have 4 Meeples that 4 people can attend.
- Discounts on other FWGN events will be taken at check out.
- Once paid for, various levels of Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Meeples in the Inner Circle Club are non-refundable.
- Inner Circle Club Meeples is non-refundable even if the FWGN LLC company dissolves, there is another Pandemic, or act of God event that make FWGN events no longer possible.
- Once issued, Meeples in the Inner Circle Club are non-transferable and are valid for the life of the original name of the buyer.
- You may choose to be listed as anonymous on the website and publications if desired.
- There will be a yearly renewal fee starting on January 1st, 2025 due within 30 days for $15 to remain an active Meeple in the FWGN Inner Circle from one year to the next. This fee may be adjusted at the discretion of FWGN LLC.
- We, FWGN LLC, may increase the 100 limit of the Inner Circle Club at our discretion if there’s interest by future potential FWGN Meeples.
- Contributions or payments can also be done in installments. Any monthly payment or installment is non-refundable. You don’t have to contribute all the funds at once. All funds for contributions or payments would need to be completed by
July 31st, 2023December 31, 2023. This may be extended at FWGN LLC’s discretion. - Open enrollment in the Inner Circle for Meeples will be from January 1st, 2023 to
July 31st, 2023December 31, 2023. This may be extended at FWGN LLC’s discretion. - Tickets purchased with your Inner Circle Meeple will have a base value of conventions costing $45 for 3 days, $55 for 4 days, and $65 for 5 days respectively and may not be resold at a higher value. Non-compliance with this policy may result in forfeit of the Meeple and all benefits. Additionally both parties may be excluded from any future FWGN LLC or Geek Game Days events.
- Tickets purchased with your Inner Circle Meeple and t-shirts may be charged sales tax.
- Tickets purchased with your Inner Circle Meeple will expire 15 years from the date of purchase.
- At FWGN LLC’s discretion there may be renewed open enrollment in the FWGN Inner Circle in future years starting in August 1, 2023.
- People may upgrade their Meeples from one year to the next with approval from FWGN LLC. However, pricing may increase over time.
- Additional tiers of meeples may be offered at the discretion of the FWGN, LLC.
- The fine print may be adjusted at the discretion of FWGN LLC.
